• raising awareness of jazz as an American art form
• promoting live jazz performances in Boise
• presenting world-class jazz concerts in an authentic, jazz club environment
• enhancing educational opportunities through symposia, workshops, and residencies
• disseminating information on activities and developments in the world of jazz today
